And The Beat Goes On...

Also in the '60's I listened to bands like The Cyrkle.

(This song always takes me back to the Santa Monica pier late '60's where I spent time playing in the ocean and watching them film "Groovy" with Michael Blodgett.

And, though I really wasn't so much into Paul Revere and The Raiders (even though a good friend of mine was going with and later married their manager, Roger Hart) I did like the Monkees.

During High School I listened to different music; stuff that was a little more rock and roll. Among those were The Guess Who, CCR, Davis Bowie and then I got into to Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Interestingly I didn't listen to much Bowie again until the eighties.

But that's for later.

Next we'll look at the mid '70's.
