And The Beat Goes On...

I've decided to add a bit of music to this blog. Comics are nice but I think I'll start posting about music on the off days. So, while I'll keep posting Andale and Friends on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, I will also start a music-centric part to this blog on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

To start with I want to introduce you to the music I listened to as a younger man. The very first 45 RPM record I ever owned was "Monday, Monday" by The Mamas and The Papas. I had albums and my parents had a lot of country western music, but I had no 45s until '66. I'm not really sure why my 12 year-old self liked "Monday, Monday" so much but it sure hit me as a good song then. Oddly enough I still have that very 45.

Next we'll listen to a few more old songs that have stayed with me all these years.
