I always thought the word google was one of those advanced words, it means a really big number of some kind. For some reason people used to say it to me when I was a baby.
Google (actually googol) was coigned by an adolescent. American mathematician Edward Kasner needed a word for a one follwed by 100 zeroes(10 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000). He asked his nine-year-old nephew what he would call it and the nephew said "googol." 10 to the power of googol is a "googolplex."
